Santa at the Kroger’s

December 25th, 2010 Sears Homes 1 comment

Christmas Eve, my husband (Wayne) walked into the grocery store to pick up a few last minute items for our big Christmas dinner. As he walked into the store, he saw a little boy staring at him and grinning broadly. My husband smiled back. As the little boy and his mother walked on, Wayne heard the little boy excitedly tell his mother, “Did you see him? That was Santa!”

Tired Writer

About three weeks ago, my newest book (The Sears Homes of Illinois) hit the streets. About three hours ago, I returned from a two-week booksigning tour, where I traveled from Chicago to Fairview Heights, promoting the book and doing booksignings. I’m home now and mighty tired.

It was fun, but not nearly as glamorous as one might thing. :) I sure am glad to be home.
